I've just used this sander to smooth some wall repair work and some old wooden floors. Excellent results - particularly with the 'equalisation' plate that ensures a flat smooth finish. <br><br /> <br><br />This well-designed sturdy machine is really comfortable to use (even when held above head level for wall sanding). You can also adjust the angle of the front handle. Other nice touches include the variable speed dial and a knob to ensure that the belt stays perfectly central. Changing belts is very quick & easy - just one switch to release the belt and off it comes. <br><br /> <br><br />The dust bag catches a lot of dust - I've tried the vacuum attachment briefly but that proved too restrictive on movement - the vacuum attachment is probably more useful when the machine is clamped to a workbench (clamps are included). <br><br /> <br><br />I am very pleased with this - I keep looking for things around the house to sand! <br><br />I will definitely buy more machinery from Skil in the future. Clear and concise manual too. <br><br /> <br><br />NB This is a noisy machine so ear protection is essential!
